Of course it won't.

Only once in history has it gone higher than $390 million. On that ONE time that it DID go higher, (the $640 million you spoke of), there was less than a ONE PERCENT chance that the jackpot wouldn't be hit. In other words, so many tickets were sold that over 99% of all possible combinations were bought.

It is most likely that we will never see a billion-dollar jackpot in our lifetime - unless they change the rules again.
