Usually girlfriends like to know if you're okay, as you would think about her. Knowing that you safely drove from work to home or to the bar makes her feel better. Just apologize to her and tell her you will call or text her whenever you safely arrive at your designation after work. She will get over it eventually

do something nice for her and try to find a good excuse why you didn't called her. that way i hope she wouldn't break up with you.
