Would this be a good end-of-school joke to make my friends laugh?

Question

So, the last day of school is coming up in about a week and 2 days (9 days).

And, everyday, after eating lunch, we line up and walk out the door in a line, throwing our trash away as we make our way to the door.

I almost always do something dumb to the lunch lady holding the trash bag up.

Not like throwing stuff at her, just saying and doing stupid stuff when I walk by her.

But, on the last day of school, when we're throwing our trash away, I want to say to her, "Can I hug you?" (jokingly), and if she says yes, I hug her and just stand there. If she said "Okay, time to get off" or something like that, I would say "Never".

If she said I couldn't hug her, I would just say, "Okay, bye. Have a good life."

Would that be funny to do?

I won't get in trouble for hugging the lunch lady will I?

I've already gotten in trouble the other day, resulting in a 1 day suspension.

So, I can't get in anymore trouble, my mom told me, or she would punish me. :(

So, is that a good joke?
