Your question is extremely vague. Its impossible to answer in its current form.

However, I have a sneaking suspicion from the wording of your answer that you're talking about the Hundred Years War and Joan of Arc. In which case, the answer would be the siege of Orleans in 1429 and they were inspired by Joan of Arc, a peasant girl who claimed divine inspiration to lead France to victory over England and crown Charles VII as King of France.

England, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Egypt, India, North America, and the Caribbean.

England, or after 1707 Britain, and France often found themselves on opposing sides in several wars throughout history.
