Good atheist reading?

I'm a teenager, a pastor's kid, and a skeptic. I've heard one side of the story my whole life. I'd like to read some books on religion from an atheistic point of view, so what are some of your suggestions?

Read the bibel... if you're still a believer afterwards, read it again ;)

"It is sentimental speculation and replacement theology at its finest lacking any meaningful philosophy that was had by the Judaism that reputedly spawned it.

AND, it's filled with lotsa ignorant mistakes:

    Bats are not birds.

Rabbits do not chew their own cud.

    Rabbits do not have hoofs.

    Pi does not equal 3.

The Earth is not a circle.

    The earth is not flat.

The cure for leprosy is not rubbing birds blood all over a person.

    Snakes can't talk.

    Donkeys can't talk.

People can't float to the sky.

Oh, and that bloke spending three days inside a fish is a bit suss, don't you think?"

“Just think how insightful a book that actually came from a Creator would be...

Beautiful mathematics, comprehensive laws of physics, clear biology, consistent morality and ethics among other gems.

Instead we get a bizarre book on talking snakes, burning bushes, slaves, neolithic philosophy and a strange preoccupation with everyone's sex life”.

Quite frankly, if you need the carrot and stick idea of heaven and hell to behave, then you're not a moral person whatsoever; you're a sociopath leashed by fear and self-interest.

You should try, reading the "origin of species". It's a good book for atheists.

"God's not unjust, he doesn't actually exist. We've been deceived. If God existed, he'd have made the world more just... I'll lend you a book and you'll see."

The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.

Maybe one of the most known atheist books, yet it's filled with misunderstanding and fallacies

The Origin of Humans..... It's mainly a large group of notes, proven theories, and movies.
