The enraged arab mobs were breaking into the Jewish homes in Aleppo, Cairo, Damascus, robbing and murdering men, women and children. In Aleppo arab mobs burnt dozens of Jewish shops, 5 schools, 18 sinagogues and hundreds of houses. In Damascus, dozens of Jews were killed( including 8 children) and Jewish properties were looted and destroyed.
In 1947, there were 10,000 Jews in Aleppo. By the end of the 1949, their number reduced 5 times; others had to run saving their lives. Today there is not a single Jew in Aleppo.

The total number of Jews expelled from arab countries exceeds 850,000.

To make it clear; all this happened BEFORE the creation of Israel and the first arab - Israeli war of 1948, and long before arabs fled from Jewish Palestine.

Arabs are very fond of telling the sentimental stories about how Israel "expelled "arabs from their "native land "in Israel, Judea and Samaria, and that Israel was created by the European Jews. It would be good for them to remember that 60% of the population of Israel are those Jews whom they expelled in 1947 and in posterior years. By the way, these Jews and their children are- together with Russian Jews- mostly right-wing and form the base of Likud, Zo Artzeinu and Manhigut Yehudit faction of Moshe Feiglin. Maybe it´s because they know arabs too well to believe the fairy tales about how arabs are "ready to peacefully co-exist with Jews".
