I want to move to the USA from Northern Ireland?

I live in Belfast, NI (a region in the UK that is not excluded from the Diversity Visa Lottery, if I am correct.) I am fifteen years old, so I understand that it's too early to do anything about it, at least for another few years. I am fifteen years old, so I understand that it's too early to do anything about it, at least for another few years. I have wanted to live abroad for as long as I can remember- I have visited the USA several times. Every country has its flaws, and while I know the streets aren't exactly paved with gold, I have wanted to live here since before I can remember.

I want to work in the film industry primarily, but if this goal fails me I want to have perhaps Law and Politics or Journalism to fall back on (What concerns me is that there isn't much of a high demand for these in America, and that along with competing for residence, I'll be competing for employment in these fields.) I know that it may sound far fetched.

I understand that this is a very difficult process and I have been told that It is almost impossible to gain residence in the states. I understand that it will probably take a number of years, and things will probably not work out as I had initially planned, but I don't feel I should give up my goals before I've even started.

What would be the implications of moving from Northern Ireland to the USA, and what are my options? Once I have finished school, should I attend university/college in the UK, or consider education in the USA? Thank you, in advance.
