Here is the power requirement of the GT 520 according to the NVIDIA website:

    Thermal and Power Specs:

    102Maximum GPU Temperature (in C)

29 WMaximum Graphics Card Power (W)

300 WMinimum System Power Requirement (W)

Thus, even a 400W branded PSU would be good enough for it, but indeed getting at least a 500W branded PSU is a wise move since you'll gonna have ample power for future upgrades and your PSU wouldn't be put into much stress since it is more than enough.

But if I may, for the same price range, you can get this card instead which is much faster than the GT 520:

    XFX HD-657X-ZHF2 Radeon HD 6570 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card - $65 ($45 after rebate)

hi neel, golly sounds enteresting yet i decide to advise that it may be greater useful to apply a 850 w plus 60 skill furnish and a radeon 4870 with a Nvidia geforce 9800gtx and a couple of intel 250 to 280 video taking part in cards. now enable me provide you the regulation to crossfire you're employing your alpha card it particularly is the radeon 4870 it extremely is the full video card. now your Nvidia geforce 9800gtx is protecting your pc from overheating and in basic terms employing fourty 5 % of the different 2 taking part in cards so they do no longer could desire to be too efficient given which you're in basic terms employing below 0.5 so now a saphire hd7770 will burn your pc precise up so crash and burn is the call of this song in which you do no longer choose none of that. and radeon is made for this although you are able to could desire to communicate with who you're ordering from with regard to the main appropriate wiring i conversing a sata twine yet nonetheless which you nevertheless have the pass over so ask the sales individual what form of pass over which you have and ask if it may in good shape the radeon and the intel. stable success i'm hoping i replaced into efficient to you

A 500W PSU is more the enough and will do fine. I recommend the Antec HCG-520w PSU. Good Value.
