No, gigabytes or GB is larger than a Megabyte or MB.
Here is a table, although u only need 2 know till Terabytes, these may some in handy in conversion.
1 bit (b) = Single binary digit/code (1 or 0)
1 nibble (Nb) = 4 bits
1 byte (B) = 8 bits
1 Kilobyte (KB) = 1024 bytes
1 Megabyte (MB) = 1024 Kilobytes
1 Gigabyte (GB) = 1024 Megabytes
1 Terabyte (TB) = 1024 Gigabytes
1 Petabyte (PB) = 1024 Terabytes
1 Exabyte (EB) = 1024 Petabytes
1 Zetabyte (ZB) = 1024 Exabytes
1 Yottabyte (YB) = 1024 Zetabytes
1 Brontobyte (BB) = 1024 Yottabytes
Hope this helps
Feel free 2 email me if u have any more questions !!

No, a gigabyte is 1000 times (or 1024 times depending on how you count them) larger than a megabyte.

No it goes like this. Bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes, then tb

the largest is GB that is gigabytes.
Then its MB (megabytes)
then KB (kilobytes)
and the smallest is bytes.

Kilo = 1,000
Mega = 1,000,000
Giga= 1,000,000,000
Tera= 1,000,000,000,000
These are the "decimal" versions. Binary versions are similar but use powers of 2 instead of ten.
So a binary kilo is 1024 (=2^10), Mega is 1024x1024=1048576, etc
These are common computer data sizes but these are many others:
