1/2 cup light olive oil, 1/4 cup apple cider (or balsamic) vinegar, 1/2 tsp oregano. 1 tsp basil, 1 tsp sugar, and 2 cloves of garlic, finely minced.
Put everything in a bottle, jar, or cruet and shake until sugar dissolves. Let sit at room temperature for 30 - 45 minutes. Shake before using. Store in refrigerator.
