Have any of you; Britons, seen "The Iron Lady"? The film about Margaret Thatcher - starring Meryl Streep?
If so, what opinions have you of the film, the past Prime Minister's depiction by actress of great talent and diversity; Miss Streep?

I have not seen it myself, because it is very very seldom I go to films. Still I am curious - especially about this film, and because I admire both Miss Streep, and the iron-strengthened personality of Mistress Thatcher!
Thank you.

Thank you.
Update:
I shall make the effort to watch this film. Although, I have heard such accusatory comments about Mistress Thatcher - I can not help but to admire her, for strength had, is strength which becomes so much more difficult to maintain.
I Thank you.

Checkman - That your disappointment was great toward this film, I would have only wished to have had you say why. Thank you nevertheless.

Update 2:
Well, Mr. D, I thank you for having returned to your more admirable s
senses. It is fair enough to say the film was "B-O-R-I-N-G!"- and I thank you for that. Also, do I agree Miss Streep IS an excellent actress of great talent and diversity...beautiful and gracious from the git-go, to I have no doubt; FOR...

By the way... have we met before, here on answers - or have you haunted my previous lives; both positively and its opposite - before?

Update 3:
Mr. Sven - you need not scold me for what I had not thought of, was something so terribly unfavourable to you.
I spoke more of strength - in anyone, most likely. This time, particularly of Mistress Thatcher.

Little do I know of her politics, nor of her prejudices and exploits? I seem to do poorly with Britons and others, whose nationalities need so strongly to correct me? I am quite innocent of meaning to do malice, I am innocent, but unlike the supposed innocence of a Peter Lore in Casablanca. I may be expected to apologize, but already have I done so today... this time however, I feel I do not have to. A misunderstanding exists - and I recognize it as such; unfortunately. But a flagellant I will not be for any reason to anyone, which IS unnecessary! Thank you for your response, nevertheless, and Good night, everyone!
