Why did people get upset over Coventry cathedral and why were they so happy that St Paul's in London survived? I for one would praise the Luftwaffe and the destruction of these buildings, nowadays the whole country would be thrilled at the destruction of these buildings and rightly so! I am so happy the UK...

You don't have to belong to any religion to admire wonderful buildings of all sorts, whether religious or secular (assuming you were paying enough attention in school to have learned what 'secular' means). Please just go and live somewhere that has no sense of heritage. You don't even seem to have learned enough maths to quote genuine statistics.

Well, for one, heritage sites belong to our national history - regardless of faith or creed, they are important for national identity and tourism as well as of historical importance. Any idiot can see that.

Also, quote your statistics source for a start off, I'd be surprised to see which respected poll company came out with that conclusion since the debate over our Christian cultural identity (despite the lack religious practice) has even been hosted on the BBC as of late. If Oxford theologians can't agree on this issue, I'm highly sceptical you have the answer. You are claiming a maximum of 1% of our population considers themselves Christian? And in that 1% you include Buddhists, Sikh’s, Hindu’s, etc? What an utter loon.

And btw, there are atheist’s and then there are idiots, I bet the former category would vehemently push you into the latter. Btw - I'm not religious in the slightest.

But i wouldn't want to see some of the Worlds greatest & most beautiful historical buildings destroyed by a fascist nazi regime!

Also, even if the religious buildings are destroyed, their faith will still be strong, if not stronger!
