What does new French president Francois Hollande mean for the stock market and the Euro crisis?

it is an unknown right now...markets don't like unknowns. I doubt the new president will do anything drastic for a few months but I think Hollande is a polar opposite to Sarcozy so it will be interesting.

It probably means France will loosen up a bit and push for lower Euro interest rates. That means the Euro will probably be inflated and lose value relative to the dollar. Assuming Obama is re-elected and his policies are unchanged, that means King Dollar will likely be the tallest currency among the midgets. They discussed this on Larry Kudlow's show yesterday.
