Why Do Parents send Their Sons To All Boys Catholic High School?

Ive meet a couple of guys who say they attended an all Boys Catholic High school, Roman catholic or North catholic, but Im curious to know why the parents send them?

Some Catholic high schools are single sexed some are not. Usually the ones that are have the most prestige for educational purposes & are also the most expensive. At least that is how it is where I am from. the kids I have known that have gone also generally come from pretty strict homes where they aren't allowed to date, so I suppose it's a bit easier to keep tabs if they aren't with the opposite sex all day.

I went to Catholic school through 8th grade & will tell it it is unequivocally a better education then public schooling by far. I had a class in 6th grade the public school made me take in 11th grade. Same book even. Ridiculous.
