Can a Mongoose mountain bike have pegs?

I was wondering if a mountain bike can have pegs because I like this bike: (http://www.mongoose.com/mtn/2012/bikes/juvenile/20... I like the white version, anyways I was just wondering if you can buy one with pegs or add pegs to a mountain bike. If theres any other bike out there thats a small sized mountain bike that can have pegs thanks for your time! Please answer!!!

No new bike, regardless of brand is going to be any good at that price. Mongoose does make some good bikes, but they are sold only in bke shops and they cost a lot more. Just because 2 bikes are using the same brand name does not mean they are the same level of quality. If you buy that bike, odds are pretty good that something will go wrong with it out on the trail. The suggestion that you rent a bike for the weekend is a very good one.

If your bike has gears you can't have pegs because it will mess up your axel or your gears won't work. I recently switched to a bmx so I could get pegs. If you want a bigger bmx bike to get the mountain bike feel you can go with a 24" bmx instead of the usual 20" this way you have the hight and pegs. Only thing os you won't have gears to change your speed.

All depends on the axle. I tried following the link but could not find the bike. To answer your question: If the bike has quick release hubs then no you cannot have pegs, but if it has the classic bolt and nut then yes. you should be able to find pegs that will fit it.

    Hope this helps

Most mountain bikes do not have an axle that supports pegs. It will warp the axle.
