I need to write a short poem?

It should be about criticizing or judging someone/racism/discrimination.
The inspiration we got is from the song "walk a mile in my shoes'
please help me write it!!

Have you ever experieced racism/judgement or discrimination?
I have.

And you can tell just how ignorant and narrow minded that person is who chooses to use prejudice.

In the poem, just ask, how would you feel knowing someone you love is being discriminated against for something they had no power over? Skin colour is NOT something that should be used against someone in an argument or judged on.

Talk about how it's the person inside that counts.

There's been so many struggles in fighting racism and yet, nothing will ever get rid of it completely.

Have you ever read Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman? Read it.

Why don't you take a creative twist on it and write a poem about how an initial instinctual judgement of someone turned out to be correct after they betrayed/hurt you, but you overlooked it because of your tendency to not judge by appearance.
