bubby, you have an enormous world full of help. did you ever hear of ms. m. angelou? i hope i spelled her name properly. did you ever hear of aparthedism? of nazi germany where people who were not of a particular race , not only jews, but gypsies and russian people, and all types of other people were exterminated? or the so called, " racial cleansing?", that went on throughout history, whether it was due to religious views, such as the present conditions that create so much of the conflict between contemporary, ( present or current) united states culture, as a christian judeo majority and the middle east, areas where islam is the basis of the way the koran is the foundation of the culture , in both religion and government , as far as i know, that is, and the basis for laws of the land, the way the constitution is here. it all comes down to one thing: what a person is taught as they grow and develop their concepts of what is moral , legal, ethical, everything. we learn from those who came before us. and what changes these things all depends on what takes place in the world. for example, if , thank goodness they did not, the nazis had won ww2, instead of the allies. our conversation here may not even be taking place. see what i mean? as far as the media is concerned, they are a reflection of the culture as spokepersons. people , like animals, are somehow always naturally judging each other. if it was not for skin color, it would be for some other reason. like for a disability , or what is considered such. it actually comes from when we first were not finished progressing to the state we are now in, as humans. cavemen for example, they fought for the clan. prejudice is a natural characteristic, yet , civilization has taken it way out of where it should have remained as simple, likes or dislikes , say, for a particular food or something like a whatever? cold or hot weather. but , people are not very civilized , are they. don't dispair. one of these days skin color won't mean a thing, as it should not be the basis of determination of the character . i wish you well.

I don't think you're on the right track. I would think she wants you to take 3 themes from her writing or from her herself For example, the cause of the racism, the effects of the racism, the way the racism presented itself
