    No Way!!! He was definitely not blind. Also, he had NO weird things going on there. Just needed glasses. Everything else is rumors and hearsay. The estate is actually looking to pull books off the shelf for innacuracy etc just because there is SO MUCH misinformation out there. Roy's poor wiki page even has innacuracies and is incomplete. It's missing so much info. So there you have it. The Soul of Rock and Roll was NOT blind!

    Actually, no. Roy Orbison did suffer from visual problems since early childhood (among them; hypertopia, severe astigmatism and strabismus) but he was NOT blind nor was he ever declared 'legally blind.' He wore thick corrective lenses and the dark prescription sunglasses that he wore in public became his trademark. By the way, he is dead (1988.)
