    The correct answer is C, but the question has problems as what actually happens is that the magnetic field moves through the wire and that causes the electricity to flow.

    A device that converts electrical energy to kinetic energy is a motor.

    In a motor, current flows in a coil of wire causing magnets to be moved (and rotating the shaft).

    The "opposite" of a motor is a generator.

    A device that converts kinetic energy to electrical energy is a generator.

    In a generator, magnets are moved (by the rotating shaft) and this causes current to flow in a coil of wire.
