Are Beats By Dr Dre worth the money?

*Okay I know someone is going to say that Sennheiser's or Audio Technica's are a cheaper better option but forget it! They are ugly!*

I know already that Beats are overpriced but I really would like a pair because they are a mix of both cool looking headphones and audio quality (that is what I hear). So my real question is if the Beats audio quality really is good. I want the Beats Pros (the $400 ones). Please help me. I am 14 and clueless what to do with my money. I've saved up for a REALLY long time and I want to spend my money wisely.

Sennheisers are not ugly at all...they look like actual headphones. Dr. Dre headphones are pieces of ****. Honestly, unless you are buying them just for looks, don't bother.

If you want nice looking headphones but aren't picky about quality, the Beats Pros are good. However, if you want a pair of headphones with good quality, look elsewhere. Audio quality is really, really poor. I mean, $30 Sennheiser headphones are better.

The highs are shrill and blaring, the mids are muddy and reduced, and the bass is loose and without impact.

Contrary to what person number 2 said, Bose are almost as bad. The bass is really, really bad in Bose anything.

Please reconsider Sennheisers. I'll link you to some that are nice looking; they are more conservative looking than Dr. Dre headphones, but that's part of the German-style (same style that makes Porsche, Hugo Boss, and some of the top fashion designers in the world.) The headphones linked below will have excellent sound quality and a great look.

definite. I even have the Justin Berber beats (do no longer laugh, they have been on sale) and that they sound extremely good. that's loopy, you will pay attention all forms of little information you often won't be able to with much less costly headphones. on the initiating, i assumed that became a sales pitch, although that's soo genuine The readability is amazingly good too. The bass is respectable besides. Strongly propose.

No they are not! My brother got them and they broke in like a week. Bose has some super nice ones that look the same but have amazing quality tho:)
