Calculate the acceleration, the speed acquired and the distance travelled?

A net force of 450 newton acts for 4.00 seconds on a body of mass 90kg. Calculate the acceleration, the speed acquired and the distance traveled in the 4.00 seconds.

I have already worked out that the acceleration is 5ms^-2 but i don't know how to figure out the speed acquired or the distance traveled though I do know the answers are 20ms^-1 and 40m

    You must use the kinematics equations to solve such problems.

    As you know a=5ms^-2. The initial velocity of the body before the force acted on the body =0.Time is given as 4s.

    Use the equation v=u+at (v=Final velocity ,u=initial velocity, a=acc,t=time)

    Hence v=0+20.so v=20ms^-1.

    For the second part use the equation s=ut+ at^/2 (s=displacement)

    so s=0+5 *4*4/2 =40m
