What band has the most powerful sound?

Korn has a pretty powerful sound, Mindless Self Indulgence has a pretty twisted sound (see Backmask), I guess Slipknot has a pretty hardcore sound in some songs. Though I'm wondering like what band is more intense than the ones I listed, and I don't mean like retarded unintelligible death metal growling ****, something that is actually hardcore because it actual has a unique sound that has power to it, that makes people feel the immense angst/hate/passion in the song.

Update:

Yeah they are so ******* terrible you can't give me anything other than a vague thoughtless answer, don't be in denial the reason those bands are popular is because they are ******* unique and stand out among the copy pasted ****, except Slipknot they aren't that amazing, but MSI and Korn are, like I asked can you think of a band with a more powerful sound? I certainly cannot.

Update 2:

As far as metal goes you aren't going to find anything more hardcore than some of Korn's best ****, literally like try not kidding yourself when you say your screaming noise music is hardcore its just ******* silly

Update 3:

Jonathan Davis has written some pretty whiny lyrics but at least he sings them with more emotional power than anything I've ever heard coming from some ****** that sounds like a teenage douchbag and growls a lot or some lame satanic themed piece of **** band no creativity in the music industry, sorry but your obscure "superior" taste in music is inferior as ****

I can understand passion in music.

Three Days Grace, some of they're stuff is soft, but some of it can get up there

Evanescence has a gothic feel to it but power none-the-less

My FAvorite has to be 30 Seconds to Mars. The music isn't always that hard but the voice is.

Your an idiot. Retarded death metal growing? It's not that simple. Korn and Sliplnot just play power chords and yell and scream about teenage problems. Death metal instrumentation is extremely technical, it's impossible for intermediate guitarist while Slipknot and Koran can be played with about 6 months of guitar experience. Death metal is clearly better on all levels, just think about it as the horror genre Of music

Galaxie 500, in a Joy Division kind of way.

Medicine is pretty powerful too, especially their first album. It's just loud, noisy shoegaze.

From a metal standpoint, Nortt is pretty powerful.

Not sure, but it's hard as hell for me to listen to Joy Division's "Closer" album in one sitting. If I were to try, I'd probably kill myself halfway through.
