Would "Show Off" from Drowsy Chaperone work for a Sally Bowles/Cabaret Audition?

I want to get the part of Sally in my university's production of "Cabaret" and I'm having a difficult time choosing a song. I was thinking "fever" by Peggy Lee, but someone commented on the fact that it doesn't show off my range enough. What about "Show Off" from The Drowsy Chaperone? I've played Janet so I know the song very well.

Or any other ideas?

"Show Off" would be a great number to audition with, it has a similar feel to Sally's songs and it works well acting wise as long as you properly portray the "show buise" side of the number

Try something Candor and Ebb... Show off is too modern Broadway. Sweet Charity and Chicago have great music for a Sally audition.
