Is your mind like a steel trap ...?

Mines more like a squishy sponge ...and the things that get stuck in it aren't part of an orderly process ...

Mine is a complex system of thought processes:

finding a balance between spiritual growth, health,

    survival, maintaining friendships, appreciating and

playing music, appreciating and producing visual

arts, "smelling the roses", fishing, and the best of

all ~ rejoicing in the love of my beautiful wife.

Kind of like an old torn fishing net with a big hole in the middle. Some stuff stays in but the most of it goes right on out.

More like a steel sieve. Only the big pieces are retained.

The hopefully you "clean it out" regularly by looking into your resoning for your actions, etc. It's good to look inside ourselves from time to time, and make positive changes when needed. Don't you think?
