Why Chris Gayle started very slow in tonight's match against KKR?

Trust the BCCI and the IPL to create a new award for Gayle: best nonsense innings in a losing cause.

This man don't care about his own West indies team .why do you think he really cares about RCB .He came here to make some quick money .so that purple cap that is what he needed to get more attention

A lot of the innings I have seen Chris Gayle play have started slow and taken a few overs before the fours and sixes start coming.

Perhaps because he is useless batsman.. he begins slow and ends up losing his side on most occasions. He only cares for his orange cap and IPL. Ajinkya Rahane is better than Gayle who intentionally break noses of spectators and hits umpires intentionally. See the games in which Gayle has performed and KKR won ? best innings in a losing cause.. agreed.

chris gayle usually starts his innings in a slow pace...u can refer previous matches also....h jst never pic ed any speed during the game maybe coz of rapid fall of wicket at other end

Maybe the loss of three quick wickets made him rethink his game in the middle. He may have thought about the fact that even if RCB loses this game the NRR is something that needed to be taken care of given the duration of this tournament.

As Dilshan, Kohli and Ab gone early he got the responsibility to progress the inn.

And second he not had any support at other end

  • I don't support this opinion because no one can want to loss their team. A good player can't play with his best performance every time. So it has been occurred.
