Why aren't African Americans in Big bang and other white media shows?

I'm so tried of this sterotype.In every show I watch that has an all black cast there displayed as gangstas,thugs,and ghetto life teenagers with poor vocabulary who listen to Jay-Z and Little Wayne.Even when there featured in other shows like South of Nowhere,Dawsons Creek,Skins,Sixteen and Pregnant,and any...

It's called racism! I use to live in America and unfortunately I found a lot of it there. I'm Asian not black but was really tired of the stereotypes in shows too.

pass watch wager channel - you will discover very few white human beings - OH, and finally end up some Essense or Jet magazines - there are in basic terms some if any white human beings in there besides. NOW, enable me factor out to you that white human beings have not got their own channel, or their own "entertainment awards", OR their own magazines. SO, end your whining. We watch "My spouse and childrens" for all time, that's a teach a pair of black kin with Damon Wayans, and that i hardly see white human beings - i could desire to CARE much less!!!

Big Bang Theory - - - What's her name? The Jew's girlfriend? There was an episode where she ran into her ex, who was a really tall black man in a suit, and I believe he was also a scientist.

You see the stereotype so often because sadly that's how most black Americans are, at least the ones I've come across, but of course there are exceptions to just about everything.

Because they're white media shows :( Hopefully in the future these people making those shows can put in characters with more diversity. I don't have cable though so I don't know but there are/have been shows with plenty diverse characters (I'll just say Heroes CSI and House MD because they're the only shows I know) Also, kind off topic and stupid but True Blood had a black and gay character (watched the show once, laughed at everyone's accents)

The fact is you're a minority, and these popular shows don't cater to the minority. I hope this changes. By the way, you have awesome taste in music

Because they're American Shows. America rated as one of the top 6 racist countries in the world.
Their target audiences also tend to cater for middle class White Americans.
