Despite what has happened between Sudan and South Sudan, I believe that South Sudan was impulsive and unfair in this situation.

The Heglig oil fields belongs to North Sudan and their government. After South Sudan split, they took most of the oil fields which were located in the South (and yes, I know the pipelines go through the North). Sudan needs the Heglig oil fields or the economy will collapse.

The South Sudanese brought their troops and invaded that space, asking for war.

I feel that they have been oppressed by the Sudanese government, and that the only way they can solve issues like this is by dialogue.
