How to find the area of a sector (circles)?

Could someone walk me through the steps, I cant seem to get it right :(

    Area of the sector (A) / Area of the Circle (PI * r^2) = central angle measure / 360

    Solve it as a proportion like this, or use this simplified equation:

    Area of the sector (A) = Central angle measure / 360 * PI * r^2
