It's not even that great when you get there.
With the advent of 25,000 tickets being allocated to corporate sponsors, businessmen and investors, meaning that any 'sell out' at Wembley only has at best 65,000 genuine football supporters it's not surprising.
Old Wembley could hold between 80-100,000 football fans, and at one stage could hold 127,000. Not corporates or investors or other people who knew nothing about the game, but the fans of the two clubs competing. Not only is it expensive inside it's quiet, bland and soulless. The idea of 'Noo Wembleh' was to give the football fan the 'ultimate football 'experience'' (i hate that term) so how do they achieve this?
By reserving the best seats in the stadium for the corporate investors and glitterati snobs. Well done FA, well done.
