Did you know niche companies can cater to needs of certain groups/people and even use it as a way of segregation? Also it affects who's hired since employers expect staff to be knowledgeable about the goods/services.
Let me kick you a what off scenario. A niche camping/yachting store that caters to campers and yacht sailors might neglect customers from urban and impoverished backgrounds. Even more chilling they might refuse to hire an impoverished urban youth because of lack of camping/yachting experience.
Is this why all business needs government registered diversity officers?
