I believe over a long period of time we can abolish racism. Racism is not someones feelings, but influences. Influences that we can change. A little change can go a long way. If people disagree, that we can not abolish racism and do not want to; there will be no change. You have to open up to ALL possibilities. However, I also think that we can not completely get rid of racism, because there are those who oppose and do not like diversity, but I think that we can change the statistics drastically. As you can see, racism has bee improved. By saying this, many people of different “races” over the past years are being treated a equals. For example, in the 1900's many Aboriginals were being placed in residential schools and have been suffering from poor health ever since (Hutchings "Canada’s First Nations: The Legacy of Institutional Racism"). Before, you call me names and say rude things, think about it. This is my opinion, which I wish to share with you, to inform you and persuade you. Some of you, your heads are clouded and others do not open up to all possibilities. Think about it, can we really make a change? And how?
