what to text about with a guy friend?

Its akward when we text... what can we talk about?

You should first try to find some common ground between you two. Find some mutual interest and go off that. This way you guys will enjoy a good, steady conversation which you both can contribute too. Maybe you guys share a favorite movie/music genre, book, food, game, tv show, pet etc. But if you're having a hard time some subjects that usually get guys going are: sports, video games, cars, tv etc. And if you get him talking dont doze off! During this time you can highlight his interest and be better prepared for the future. Hope this helps and good luck ;)

Or, make up some joke to attract the persons attention

Check out his interests.. on Facebook or something. Then talk about it. Or go out with him so you can have something to TALK about not just text about.

Talk about guy things like sports, fishing, hiking, jokes, clothes, athletes, hunting,...etc
