I'm having some issues with self pleasure?
So I'm 16 and like to "take matters into my own hands." if you know what I mean. But lately when I climax it feels somewhat underwhelming. Why is this and is there some sort of fixing solution? Also if it helps I usually do it lying in bed or sitting on my couch.

Masturbation is a natural habit in both the genders during their life time. But mind you "Excess in anything is bad".
First of all you should know that your private part is not made of metal and cannot be used roughly, whenever you want and in whatever manner you want. Continuous masturbation in men will certainly leads to unwanted curvature of penis (it depends on which hand and how much roughly u r using on your private part) and in women, as the clitoris is the main pleasure giving part and is equally and highly sensitive one. It looses its sensitivity due to rough use of their fingers on clitoris. Later they may not get normal pleasure or orgasm in intercourse (thrust of penis) after their marriage.
But this is not so serious in men who masturbates, but as we continuously lose our vital fluid, we lose normal strength required for stirdy erection of our penis which is very important to enjoy sexual pleasure during intercourse, together with loss of much required quantity of sperms in our seminal fluid. After sometime, we may not be able to produce children and enjoy the pleasure of intercourse for a long time. If u use your penis roughly there is every chance of fracturing it and you may face permanent Erectile dysfunction.
Hence, it is better to put an end to masturbation and control this habit for your future happiness.
Then as a good suggestion, please keep a K-Y lubricating jelly which is available in all the medical shops, and sparingly apply the same on your penis before masturbation to avoid roughness in friction between hand and the penis. To some extent this will help u avoiding damage to your penis or still better if u use a pre-lubricated condoms during masturbation. Masturbation Once or twice a week is acceptable.
Please take care of your penis, as without this vital part you are dead to this world and you cannot enjoy the pleasure given by Mother Nature. Mind you, Penis is not replaceable by surgery. Hence avoid safeless sex with women of all kinds to avoid getting veneral diseases.

Moderate masturbating can actually render positive effects like reducing stress and anxiety and promoting the production of 'endorphin' hormone. Endorphin is considered 'feel good hormones' as it brightens up the mood of an individual. Thus, increased amount of endorphin would mean lively mood and high spirits. Besides, this particular hormone is also said to be beneficial for a man's prostate.

Excessive masturbation creates a problem when one reaches a point where he does not have any sperms to ejaculate and thus, blood takes over. It affects orgasm too. Simply put you need to give your penis a rest! You are most likely overdoing a good thing (masturbating).\
Try not masturbating for only two days. Masturbate on the 3rd day, there should be improvement!

Find some new and interesting ways of masturbating or fantasies to masturbate to. If you watch porn, find a different porn fetish to do it to. Just change things up.
