how to tell what a skateboard bearing abec rating is?
how can you tell what a skateboards abec rating is if you cant it doesnt say?

You can't and it really doesn't matter.
ABEC is a rating for vibration in high speed industrial machines where they are spinning at speeds that would be over 200 mph on your board.
The difference between ABEC 1 and 7 is almost insignificant for your board and can actually be detrimental. The top bearing companies (Bones, Zero Drag, Twin Cam) all make their best bearings that are NOT ABEC rated because the specs actually slow them down.
ABEC became popular because many early boards used Precision grade bearings which are anything but precision. They are unbelievably poor and ABEC 1 bearings where a huge improvement. A board or skate could advertise that it had ABEC bearings and you knew that the bearings weren't garbage. Then the marketing people realized that they could get larger numbers at a small increase in cost and started hyping the ABEC number.

usually on the scale from 1 to 10. ten being the highest anything lower than 5 is a wal-mart board lol. a perfect set is reds bearings about 17 or 18 bucks at a local shop i would by those good for starters
