    Exercise

Exercise is one of the healthiest activities for the human body. So many facets of exercise lend themselves well to the detoxification of drugs. Many chemicals that are ingested into the body are stored in fat cells. By shedding some of this fat, you not only improve your shape, but also help expunge these toxins out of your system. Aerobic exercise such as walking, swimming, jogging or bicycling are great activities to burn fat. Cardio exercise also increases sweat production that helps eliminate toxic substances. Lastly, deep breathing can help get rid of residual drug toxins. Taking deep breaths helps oxygen enter the system while expelling carbon dioxide when you exhale.

    Diet

Eating a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables can help detoxify our bodies. Foods of plant origin are chock full of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that our cells need to regenerate, repair and keep organs functioning properly. If possible, try to eat strictly organic fruits and vegetables. They are found in most supermarkets and are popular because pesticides were never used on these plants. This allows fewer harmful chemicals to enter the body while attempting to rid the body of drugs. Eat plenty of fiber-rich foods as they help move waste products out of the intestines then out of our bodies. Some great examples of fiber-rich foods include multigrain breads, brown rice, bran cereals, walnuts and soybeans.

Drinking plenty of fluids and going on a fast can expedite the process of drug detoxification. Be sure to drink at least 8 to 12 glasses of water every day. Other beverages such as fruit juices, vegetable juices and herbal teas can flush out the toxins and strengthen our immune system. Fasting can also aid in the detox process. Since no food is eaten, you do not use up energy during the digestion process. Cleansing and healing can ensue at a more rapid rate than without a fast.

Drugs of all kinds place a heavy burden on the detoxification system of the liver. So a person trying to get off of drugs should support the liver with formulas like Milk Thistle Combination, All Cell Detox and Enviro-Detox. It is also important to drink plenty of pure water to help flush the toxic drugs from the system.

Not universally. Most just flush your system. It depends on how much you smoke, how often, and what test they are using on you.

Time is the only 100% effective detox.
