Can you 'see' what's happenning to America? Has God ledft it alone now? Do you "perceive it"?

Crazy people killing others violently. Violent murders committed as if under some weird influence. The attacks that breached the security walls in the USA, on 9-11. The series of 'natural phenomena' happening lately all over the States. The list can go on and on... Read another warniong given to Israel in Isa 9:10

Louis Wu - please ask that to Buddha, he might know.

Update 2:

choko_ca...- I appreciate your correction, thanks. Yet you failed miserably in 'seeing' the important part of the question, the 'subject', and concentrated on the trimmings of the letters. The facts - despite your snobbish correction - are still there, and the questions about 9-11 are still unanswered. Poor...

Update 3:

TheKitte... - Thanks...but you only gave me more reasons for God having left America to its own destiny. You could add to that, the same sex marrying laws, the pornographic industry, the Wars made on the idea of keeping Democracy, etc.

Update 4:

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - thanks; please read The Harbingers, by Johanthan Cahn. It will illuminate your understanding on 9-11 and the economic crisis that came after that and the one comming next.

Yes, this is part of the signs of the times we are living in. More disasters than ever, more killings, mass murders. Seven people were just shot by someone in a bad mood in Oakland which is only asbout 20 minutes away from here. This just happened yesterday and today tornadoes struck worse than they ever had in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Every day there is another disaster. Scientists are saying that Solor flares will cause trillions of dollars in damage near the end of this year and/or next year. There is a possibility of an EMP (Electro-magnetic-pulse) which would be even worse than the solar flares if it were caused by a bomb exploding in the air. Anti-semitism and anti-Christian attitudes have gotten progressively worse, and some radicxals are wanting to eradicate all Jews and/or all Christians. It was Christians who were killed in the school in Oakland.

    This is your verse:

    Isaiah 9:10 (KJV)

10The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.

We must persevere to the end.

    Matthew 24:13 (King James Version)

13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

The USA is said to be the most Christian country in the western world.

Just about every indicator of social distress is higher there than in a string of other countries and it has been for years. The murder rate is higher than in just about all the rest, the rate of unmarried births is higher, the abortion rate is higher and even the infant mortality rate is higher than in several others.

A journalist travelling in the USA just before the invasion of Iraq found that many people were certain that Saddam Hussein had ordered the 9/11 attacks. Other people say the USA "feels" different to many other countries and they didn't care for it. Across the border in Canada things "felt" different and better. Hard to know what they mean, but they mean something.

What I see on Yahoo! Answers only bears this out, and not just in the R&S pages. The most bizarre theories, Illuminati, New World Order, doom in 2012, young Earth creationism, Scientology, HAARP, Project Bluebeam, the rapture and many others are all American inventions and many of them seem to be wrapped up in some kind of paranoia.

Is it the same kind of paranoia that causes the USA to spend far more on defence than all the rest of the world combined even after the threat from the Soviet Union evaporated nearly 20 years ago?

And this spending has its consequences. Many of the questions on Y!A betray a degree of illiteracy and ignorance that can only be accounted for by very poor education combined with the extreme youth of the askers.

If anything, the USA demonstrates that religion is not the solution, it is part of the problem.

And yet, majority atheist Norway has petroleum investment revenues to cover all government expenses for the next generation.

    No. Look elsewhere.

Look into the deep corruption of the culture. Look into the religion of greed and violence. What nation could possibly need 50% of all military spending for "defense"? How can you defend salaries for CEOs in the 9 digits, as though that was a virtue? How can you defend the growing inequality that is threatening to make American demographics look like the demographics of a third world country?

    Tackle the real stuff.

NEWSFLASH! America was founded on violence and murder....mainly the murder of the indigenous population. Violent murder commited under "weird influences" has been happening since we began recording murders. Natural phenomenon does not need "quote" marks, since it is real.

You, however, need a tinfoil hat.

Throughout history, people have been using the events of their times to "foretell" some kind of symbolic omen. It's superstitious nonsense for the weak-minded.

You mean like the mom who stabbed her little girl to death because the child was sleepwalking and the mother, thought she was possessed?

Or the woman who drowned her 5 children to "Save them from hell." And now the doctors are considering letting her have a weekly visit to church!

Religion is part of the problem, not the solution.

Yes, of course! Murderous psychopaths weren't around and natural disasters didn't occur prior to Christianity! It all makes sense now.

All I see is what's happening to people's ability to spell, use grammar, and reason properly in their native language, and it's pretty awful.

Right, because religion is just what we need.

I think you dropped your tin foil hat.
