cm to m, divide by 100

cm^2 = cm * cm so cm^2 to m^2 = divide by (100 * 100) = divide by 10,000

cm ^3 = cm * cm * cm so cm^3 to m^3 = divide by (100 * 100 * 100) = divide by 1,000,000

Remember this:

1m=100cm or 1cm=1/100 m

1m^2=10 000cm^2 or 1cm^2=1/10 000 m^3

1m^3=1 000 000cm^3 or 1cm^3= 1/1 000 000 m^3

an example1500cm^3= 1500/1 000 000 m^3=1.5/1000 m^3=0.0015m^3

1 m^2 = 10000cm^2

(x)m^2 = (x) multiplied by 10000 cm^2

Hope this helps.
