At what temperature and for how long should I bake 1" thick pork chops?

I like to do mine at 325 for 1 1/2 hrs covered with a little water in the roaster pan. Makes them tender.

Because pork chops these days are grown leaner than the old days, they can dry out easily. So I would bake it at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, turn it over and do it for another 10 minutes. Turn on the broiler for 2 minutes, turn it and do one minute. Remove from the oven, cover in foil so it can re-absorb the juices, and that should do it.
