Why does the Blue loading circle next to my cursor keep spinning?

First some specs. I'm using an Acer Aspire 5742-7645 laptop. I3 processor, 500 gb hard drive, 4 gb of RAM, running Windows Seven.

I just got my computer back from Acer after I sent it away to get reapaired. I've since then uploaded all my old files from my portable hard drive and reinstalled most of my software. Everyhting was working just fine, I was very happy with the jonb Acer did, but now that Blue loading wheel that appears next to the cursor when the computer is loading something, wont go away. It just pops up every five seconds and i dont know why. I'll have nothing going on and it will just keep spinning. It doesn't seem to prevent me from being able to do any of my work, and the computer itself is running great, it's just annoying seeing it constantly on the screen next to my cursor. Any ideas of what could be causing it and what I can do to make it stop?

When this happens again, Hit Alt, Del keys. Go to the processes to see what is running. If you see something that should not be running you can turn it off.

It should appear every time you load something, but if it takes too long or constantly then you should check if you have too many processes going on at the same time. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and choose the last option. There should be a tab that shows you the processes going on in your PC.

I have the same problem. I brought up task manager and the only thing running is Microsoft edge. I've updated Java. Nothings changed.

Comcast Constant Guard was causing mine to blink once per second. I disabled Constant Guard and the blinking stopped.

This was happening to me (annoying)... Update JAVA, or uninstall, then reinstall updated version of JAVA. As soon as I did this, the issue was resolved.
