What are the pros and cons of diversity and conformity in society?

Society & life are diverse, as nature is. The wonder of ~ 20 aminoacids building transparent pupil to hard bone teeth nails - a typical case of diversity with aim.
Any non conformity is the other side of the coin- that creates, recreates , disrupts, destroys- a rebel cell growth can do havoc- discomforts to diseases like cancer.
So both the terms are real coexist, & are to coexist in us.
The pros & cons are the story of us !
