Can't decide on college major or career?!?
I definitely want to do fashion design. I'm also strongly considering majoring in business (probably business management) because I want to start my own some day (at least I think so..)
I'm also interested in theater (screenwriting, acting, directing, set design), journalism (maybe I could be a fashion journalist? I want to do design, too though..), and environmental studies (I want to be an environmentally friendly, cruelty-free, vegan fashion designer).
I'm SO confused on what I should do.
I am leaning toward getting an associate's degree in business or maybe general education/liberal arts? Then going on to a more specific major?
Individualized majors do interest me, too, because I could create it with everything I'm interested in. Do you have any ideas on what I could include in this if I chose this path? I feel like most fashion schools don't offer this, though.
And I'm looking at the University of Redlands in CA, at the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies. Would this be a good option for me? I know it doesn't include fashion..
And if you could direct me to any good schools in CA (specifically Southern CA), I would really appreciate it!
Thanks so much!
