chicken pasta recipe advice?
Im making a tortellini with chicken, parmesean alfredo sauce, marinated artichoke hearts, and asparagus. What are some good ideas of spices or anything to spice it up :)
would diced tomatoes be okay to add?

mccormick perfect pinch roasted garlic with bell pepper is a perfect addition. if not available garlic in any form will do. also don't forget the black pepper, either cracked or ground. a little salt is always good in a savory dish. also this dish would work well with basil. diced tomatoes are fine, but be sure they are drained well if canned and de-seeded if fresh.

Garlic is essential in the sauce.
The chicken should have poultry spice (thyme, sage, rosemary).
The diced tomatoes need to be firm or they'll get mushy.
Diced red pepper would be a better choice.

Chicken Italianio (easier than it looks and if you don’t have rosemary or cooking wine, just leave them out)
3 lbs chicken breasts, cut up
3-6 tbsp salad oil
12 garlic cloves
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp dried rosemary leaves
1 medium-sized onion, sliced
4 medium-sized tomatoes, cut into wedges
1 8 oz package of spaghetti
In 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, in hot salad oil, cook chicken and garlic until golden brown on all sides, about 20-25 minutes. When done, add wine, salt, pepper, rosemary, onion and half the tomato wedges; over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until chicken is fork-tender. Skim fat from liquid in skillet (if there is any). Add remaining tomatoes; heat through. While this is simmering, prepare spaghetti as label directs.
To serve, drain spaghetti; place on large platter. Spoon chicken mixture on top of spaghetti.

A little Italian seasoning, basil and oregano would be nice.
