Can I study engineering while in the army?

I want to go to college for mechanical engineering but I want to be in the military.

I received my BS in Environmental Engineering, while in the Army, using the "Green-to-Gold" scholarship.

I knocked out my first two years (took me 6 years in the days before the internet) on my own time while enlisted and then the Army sent me to college, full time, to finish my BS and earn a commission.

So yes it can be done. You have to bust your a$$. Nothing will be handed to you.

No you can't. Army personnel are specifically prohibited from studying any type of engineering.

Yes you can! They really enjoy it if you study combat engineering.

Probably not you will not have that much time. You will have to wait until you are done.
