Physical question
In the diagram P1 and P2 are 2parallel horizontal plates which are 16mm apart in vacuum and have a potentialdifference of 220 V maintained between them. The upper plate being positive.Also there is a horizontal magnetic field of 0.06 T as show,A horizontal beam of electrons is directed between the plates sothat it is moving at right angles to the magnetic field as shown.
(1)Calculate the magnitude of theelectric field between the plates(2)Determine the magnitude of theforce due to electric field acting on each electron and state its direction.(3)Calculate the speed of anelectron that will allow it to pass undeflected between the plates.

PS: Q1、Q2
ok~~
(1)Calculate the magnitude of theelectric field between the plates
答:
磁場的強度= 220 / (1.6x10^-2) v/m = 41250/3 v/m
= 13750 v/m
(2)Determine the magnitude of theforce due to electric field acting on each electron and state its direction.
答:
Electric force on an electron = (1.6x10^-19)x13750 N
=2.2X10^-15 N
