Why is my puppy not eating his food and vomiting ?

He is a male, 5 month old Staffordshire Terrier. Since yesterday he appeared depressed, but today we noticed he wasn't eating his food, we feed him his treats (that he puked later).. He is vomiting white foam and his food. He has all his vaccines and are planning to take him the vet tomorrow if he doesn't get better.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try something more enticing, yet easier on his stomach. Boil chicken and make white rice with chicken broth. Its soothing to his stomach. If he still vomits that up, take him to the emergency vet, asap. You never know, it could be very serious. Even though a dog has had its veccines, it could still pick up something like parvo which is an emergency situation.

He could have just eaten something outside that didnt sit well, so try the chicken rice and broth trick, if that doesnt help seek medical attention immediately

There could be a thousand reasons why your pup is vomiting and will not eat and only a vet can tell you for sure....he might have eaten something that is giving him trouble...are you missing any socks or pillow stuffing..he might have eaten too much food,..he might have an illness or he might have an injury. The vet will tell you after he examines him and then you will know for sure. Good Luck
