Michigan State University?

Do you think I have a good chance of getting accepted to Michigan State University. If I have a 3.0 in my home school program Penn Foster?

According to the information on the well-respected College Board web pages for Michigan State Univ., about 73% of those who apply are accepted.

This is the link the the College Board info on MSU:

    Am I On Track?

    SAT, AP, CLEP

    How Do I Stack Up?

The College Board info indicates that only about 8% of the current-year first year students entered with a high school GPA close to yours.

You will note in the College Board information on the high school GPAs of current-year MSU first year students, your GPA is lower than about 87% percent of the class, so if you are accepted, you may find you will have to put more effort in your studies at MSU to keep up with your classmates.

    Unsolicited advice:

I am assuming you are a Michigan resident. If not, the MSU tuition for an out-of-state student may be too high for your budget.
