What does it mean to have a foriegn exchange student?

I am considering excepting one and are wondering if anyone can give me their opinion on the topic.

    It's where somebody from another country (usually from one of your city/town's sister cities) stays with you and goes to your school (or one of the schools close to you). I've had Japanese, Brazilian and German students stay with me. It's awesome, and the students are usually infatuated with where you are. I love it :)

    A student from a foreign country that is going to be staying at a school and another family outside of their own country temporarily.
