How popular is Boxing in Japan?

Seems to be as there are half a dozen Japanese world champs

Is it more popular than either of these; Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, Hapkido, Kung Fu and Wrestling?

Update 2:

any of these (not either of these)

Boxing is still a popular spectator sport but not as popular as MMA and K-1 kickboxing.

I was at the UFC 144 event at the Saitama Super-arena last month and it was sold-out.

The others you name are not real spectator sports in Japan.

Karate and Judo are the most popular in terms of participation.

Boxing is popular mainly because as you say they have a had a number of world champions. The famous being long retired Yoko Gushiken (#1 below) and Daisuke Naito (#2 below). They are both on TV quite regularly as TV celebs.

Also the Kameda brothers (#3 and 4 below) are popular this week and hated the next due to their winning ways, their father's and their bad attitudes. All of their fights are televised and create a stir among sports fans and everyday Japanese.

The K-whatever is rather popular, but I can't recall ever seeing just boxing on TV. Not saying it hasn't been shown, just that I have never seen it.
