    All you have to do is multiply 96 by 7.95 and you'll have your answer:)

    I wonder if the word "estimating" is key? If so then 96 tickets rounds up to 100, and the $7.95 price rounds up to $8. You can easily multiply 8*100 in you head, so $800 is an ESTIMATE. You know the actual number will be smaller because both of the items were rounded UP. You might say you estimate it in the $750-800 range.

    If you just want the exact answer, anybody with a calculator (and many people with pencil and paper) can multiply $7.95*96 and get $763.20. But estimating is quicker and a valuable skill in itself.
