The informed and politically active citizen is the biggest threat to government other than the Constitution of the United States of America. Knowledge is indeed the thing that the politicians fear more than the Constitution, Second Amendment rights, Tenth Amendment rights, communists, or any of the other things that terrify the powerful.

If you have not noticed, the entire political environment is aimed at keeping the American voter uninformed, misinformed, and frightened. This is done through propaganda that is promulgated via the "media" along proven psychological principles.

    Joseph Goebbels said it best,

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

No never. I even have experienced what the prophet Joel talked approximately, in Joel, cha.2:vs.28-29.(KJV) And it got here to bypass interior the e book of Acts, cha.2:vs.a million-4; additionally verses sixteen-18. additionally examine verses 36-38. Now you haven't any longer any excuse for no longer listening to the reality. What have you ever experienced on your unbelief? Does that someway pose a probability on your very own status quo?

Very much so . The status qou has carefully edited what they want us to know . Often the truth takes years to dig out of the propaganda and in the process the ones doing the digging are called conspiracy seekers in an attempt to discredit them .

  • Actually. The government can deem you a threat from a minimal to a high risk, pending on how you are.

IQ 150 or more? Own a deal of weapons? (I.e Guns from magnums to AK-47s?) How well you can shoot a gun and how well you can plot, plan, strategy, well-thought out scenarios. It gives or takes.

The government is scared of you, because you are what you are and not what they want you to be.

You might want to ask yourself why you choose to see the world as a battleground, when there are other ways to look at the world.

Your question might be reworded for example, as...

"Is an informed citizen better than an ignorant citizen? If so, why?"

The Republicans seem to think so. Look at Santorum's "snob" statement -- they prefer an uneducated populace. Ignorant people are easier to control.
